In this occasion, I'm gonna tell you about one of my memorable trips.
In early December 2017, we decided to go on holiday to Pangkal Pinang, Bangka Island, South Sumatera. The reason we went there because Bangka is the place where my grandmother and mother came from.
Two years ago was my first time there. We went there with 10 people who are all my family. We stayed there for a week. On the first and second days, we’re busy because of visiting each of my family houses.
There, from one place to another has a great distance. Bangka is still quiet because it is not a densely populated area. So, from downtown to Sungai Liat (around the suburbs) just takes half an hour. Also, traffic jams rarely occur there unless there is an activity or certain even. The weather is nice and cool. That's what makes me want to stay longer there.
To adapt to a new place’s food might be hard, but the food there are delicious and suitable for my tongue. So that makes me adaptable.
Have you ever heard Martabak and Terang Bulan Bangka? Yep! It comes from Bangka. The taste is different from the Martabak and Terang Bulan in Solo.
There are many beaches that have different beauty. Because of the limited time there, I couldn't went to all the beaches. I forgot which beach I went to, but the name of beaches that I remember are Batu Beriga Beach, Tikus Beach, Matras Beach, Batu Belinyu, Tongaci Beach, and etc. If you’ve been wondering about the photos of the beaches, there you go :
There is a unique bridge, the name is Jembatan Emas and I went there. Here I show you how the Jembatan Emas looks.
On the last day, we close the trip by had a breakfast.
